I am thinking out loud here. Which is a better platform. Keep in mind I am around 35 and have to come into the office everyday.
Audi S4 or Subaru Impreza WRX STi?
I think for the older side of me the S4 is a better option. Just a more refined car. But the little H 4 engine and tightness of the Impreza is doing something for me. I do not like that Blue the Impreza comes in, but Black is always a good color.

Honda’s are great cars! I was just reading between the lines…I know deep, down inside you want a reliable, affordable car.

Deep down I want to go fast as hell and have fun doing it. The S4 has QUATTRO and I think day in day out that is by far the best all wheel drive system in the market. You put Fast with Handeling and then you just have fun.

The STi has relatively the same performance, faster 0-60 and is $15-25 grand cheaper, better gas milage, the only reason to buy the S4 is your Love for Audi’s. Thats ok though, the car I WANT is the 2006 AMG C55 but starting at $56K, its not going to happen.

I think the S4 is more refined. Plus the rings make it go faster. I would like to have the AMG DTM. That would be awesome. Meybe when they are 20 years old I will be able to afford one, but that is one awesome car.

s4 is more refined, the wrx is impressive however looking around on your site getting a feel for what you are like the s4 is right up your alley

I have always been an Audi/VW/Porsche fan. I think the Audi Engineers are gods, and Prosche….oh don’t get me started. Your right a good 3 -4 year old S4 is right up my alley….Little APR tuning and some nice Stasis parts here and there and I will end up with the Audi of my dreams.

funny were on the wrx topic, I drove my 67 GTX to band pratice last night, on the way home I lined up at a light with a WRX young kid at the helm it had a nice shiney stainless steel exhaust system which honest to goodness looked like a 4″ or 5″ exit. It sounded great, but it had rained earlier and the fact I got busted doing a 122 at the same light about 6 years ago..well I let it go(oh so tempting)…but that WRX sounded tight as he sped away, they are neat cars right out of the box a couple mods and I think they are legit 11-12 second cars
