Sun’s Data Center in a Box

This is pretty neat. Sun has put a data center in a box. It’s called the BlackBox project and they are being built right here in Colorado. I think the idea is very neat and should be looked at by other companies like IBM and DELL.

It would be great to see one of those at Lotusphere, running IBM hardware, with every OS version of Domino, Sametime, Quickr etc. running.

That would be cool. I like the idea and I think there is a need. Sun is really working hard to destroy, errr, I mean make them look better to the investors as they let go of another 5,000 people this month. Sink or Swim? Will Sun Make it? Time will tell but I have to wonder how long FREE software can take you?
