“Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Saturday accused Democrat Barack Obama of “palling around with terrorists” because of his association with a former 1960s radical, stepping up the campaign’s effort to portray Obama as unacceptable to American voters.”

So I have gotten an ear full about saying the same thing before and I know everyone who is an Obama support somehow shrugs off the American Terrorist connection, but it’s real and it’s sad in fact, and if you know anything about Chicago politics, or even politics in general, you know there is a connection. Palin didn’t say “ Bill Ayers” but we all know who she is talking about. Obama worked and met with him many times, if I am able to recall he mentions it in one of his books or maybe someone else did on another PRO Obama book. Obama purchased a house from Bill Ayers in Chicago and Obama has been to his house for fund raisers? So if they are not connected then I must just be the only stupid one around.

You can denounce them, and that to me does nothing since you still served on the board with him for a long time. See if this were me and I was on a board with a former US terrorist, I would ask either the terrorist step down or I would, but I would never be on a board with a person like Bill Ayers. You can say all the while, I denounce him and his murdering in the past but that does not get over the problem, you still stayed on the board and hung out with him and listened to his views. Boards are groups of common people with a common interest. These people all were on the same page…..how can we elect someone who is obviously PRO-TERRORIST in America?

This is what I am trying to say with a little more explanation:

The comment by Palin, whose running mate John McCain is vying against Obama for president in the November 4 election, was dismissed by the Obama campaign as “gutter politics” and came shortly after the McCain campaign had already called the U.S. senator from Illinois a liar.

I agree, these are the gutter politics we have come to expect. It’s because in the end neither candidate has anything to run on. They all talk about how they want to “Stir up Washington” but really is that possible? Biden has been there for over 36 years and has done nothing to change it or make it better. McCain has been there for over 10 and has bent over backwards to do nothing for the PEOPLE of the United States of America, he is very PRO ILLEGAL ALIEN though. So instead of being able to talk about the issues they are forced to beat the crap out of each other since both of them, like all of us, have flaws. It’s easier to point out the ugly rather than to talk about the positives or the actual change vs. the need for change.

This is classic, I love it. You know this is the same Obama/Biden ticket that can’t get on the same page. I give the McCain/Palin camp credit, they both are on the same page. A day after the VP Debate I saw a TV ad about Obama health care plan, which has change now some dozen times since he started this campaign, and the plan Biden gave the night before was different than the one the TV ad was about and the TV didn’t match what was on Obama’s web site? How does that happen? I am sure you all know that the health care issue is a new one. For some reason people in America think they need “FREE” health care. I don’t need anything from the government for “FREE”. You need to remind me who is paying the bills in the government? Oh that’s right, ME! So you mean it’s not FREE?

This is still the land of work hard, educate yourself and work hard, not the land of free hand outs, place your burdens on the working class and create socialist programs. Sadly some Americans all think that by feeding the homeless and giving lazy people health care, mind you health care they already have access too, then we are going to make life better for all of us…..where is John Gault?

You want to fix health care? Don’t touch it. It’s not up to the government to fix health care. It’s up to the individual. This is common self responsibility. I take care of me. A few years back I had some dealings with Burger King and they had a group they all belonged to, a club or users group if you will, the club offered them the ability to by health care for the workers in Burger King restaurants for their employees at a very small fee, very small. So the franchisee could look at how many positions he had to fill, say 50, and then buy 50 packages and offer it any way he liked to his employees. The sad part was that if he offered it for FREE they took it, if he it optional, and it was a very nice plan, they would not. I think if the employee paid it all in full they would have to have $40 every two weeks out of their check. I’m sorry but the plan I have now is really good and probably as good as the plan they had and I pay well over $900 a month. The problem in all of this is the employees chose not to pay for it, they had the option to buy the health care and do what was right, but that $40 was better spent on Mac & Cheese or a new car? The even better part was if all the franchisees in the US would have been on the plan with every employee in the system it would have dropped the price even more. It was almost dummy proof, yet no one wanted it, and now I am sure those same people love the idea of FREE not thinking about the fact that someone has to pay for it, and TAXES are going to have to go up, so in the end that $40 will be smaller than the new TAXES. Sadly we will allow the government to try to take care of us at a higher expense than it would have cost to do it ourselves.

But Obama isn’t waiting to respond. His campaign is going up Monday on national cable stations with a scathing ad saying: “Three quarters of a million jobs lost this year. Our financial system in turmoil. And John McCain? Erratic in a crisis. Out of touch on the economy. No wonder his campaign wants to change the subject.

“Turn the page on the financial crisis by launching dishonorable, dishonest ‘assaults’ against Barack Obama. Struggling families can’t turn the page on this economy, and we can’t afford another president who is this out of touch.”

Then Obama says: “I’m Barack Obama and I approved this message.”

Is the economy really that bad? Wasn’t Obama & Biden there with John McCain during this “CRISIS”? I’m sorry if I play my Captain Obvious hat today but this all seems stupid. McCAIN, OBAMA, and BIDEN have all been in Politics with each other, all pretty much voting the same way for years and now they think they can slide the blame around. Hey Obama/Biden not a smart move seeing as how you had a hand in this too. Who was it that introduced the bill some years ago to Limit Fannie & Freddie from doing those loans? Oh McCain? right right . . .

I love a good political season with clowns and this circus. Vote for David Vasta for President. I won’t do much but it would be better then the other two clowns who are going to screw it all up.
